Continuing its expansion across Türkiye, Manchego Coffee has brought its distinctive ambience to Tokat with a newly opened branch featuring a professional audio system by 09 Profesyonel. Designed to reflect the brand’s signature warmth and energy, the installation delivers flexibility to suit the venue’s dual purpose as a daytime café and evening entertainment space.
“The main focus at Manchego Coffee was achieving consistent and balanced sound across open and semi-open areas like the front garden, mezzanine and terrace – ensuring that even with higher DJ levels outside, the same tonal balance continued indoors,” explained 09 Profesyonel founder Eray Özay. “Since we were involved from the beginning of the construction, we were fortunate that the venue presented no major challenges.”
The Tokat venue comprises multiple zones, including a main seating area, mezzanine workspace, front and rear gardens, and an open terrace, all linked via a centralised control infrastructure. Day-to-day operation is handled through the Audac Touch 2 application, giving venue staff straightforward control over volume and source selection. “During the day, playlists are streamed through the network player, while in the evening the system switches to live DJ performances. This transition is easily managed by the venue staff, allowing them to control and switch between modes seamlessly,” Özay added.
The AV system integrates a complete Audac ecosystem supported by Procab connectivity and Pioneer DJ equipment. Central control is provided by an Audac MTX88 eight-zone matrix, feeding multiple SMQ750, SMQ500 and EPA152 amplifiers to power loudspeakers across both indoor and outdoor zones.
The speaker deployment includes eight Vexo8/W compact high-power loudspeakers for the main and garden areas, four Ateo6DM/W and one Ateo6M/W surface-mount loudspeaker for entrance and mezzanine coverage, and a pair of Baso15/W and Baso10/W subwoofers delivering low-frequency reinforcement. Audac WP225/W and MWX45/W wall panels provide local control in selected zones.
Özay notes that Audac has become a trusted choice for the team, having been deployed on several similar recent projects. “We’ve been working with Manchego Coffee since the opening of its very first branch. Considering the brand image and the balance between performance and cost, we have preferred Audac products from the beginning,” he said. “The matrix and amplifiers at the heart of the system provide great flexibility in our design, while the wide product range also allows us to maintain consistent quality while adapting to architectural differences between branches. For example, most Manchego locations feature Viro5 and Ateo6 or Ateo4 speakers, but the Tokat branch required higher sound levels and has a high-ceilinged front garden, so we chose the Vexo series for that area.”
Özay says the success of the project has strengthened an already long-term collaboration. “Our client is very pleased with this ongoing partnership. Since they were already familiar with the audio quality from previous locations, they had high expectations, but the enhanced DJ-focused system in Tokat exceeded those and has received excellent feedback,” he concluded.
